The Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum yesterday with Bryce, Stephanie and Elle Jones and we had a great time. One of the first things they got to do is play in the water, which I didn't know if we would ever get Brody away from that. But then we sent him on to play in the sand which Beckett also liked.
Beckett also liked going down the slide.
Brody had been talking about George the whole way up there so he got to see the Curious George Exhibit.
Then to end the day (which this also how we started but the mommy's got to go) they got to go down the big slide not once but twice. I know it is hard to tell but it looked like the daddy's may have enjoyed it more than the kids.
So it turned out to be a great day and we can't wait to do something with the Jones' again. Next time maybe the zoo!

Trip to the Zoo!

So I needed to get the boys out of the house and do something fun. Since it was sunny and suppose to be a little warmer I decided to take them to the zoo. We went downtown and met Toby and grandpa Braeger for lunch and then Toby came later and met us at the zoo. Brody really loved the fish that looked like Nemo. We had to go and look at them twice, he like them so much.
He wasn't quite as sure about the sharks. I couldn't get him to try and pet them.
Alot of the animals were still inside because it must have still been to cold for them, but the bear was one that was outside. I can't say he did anything exciting, but he did look up at us a couple of times like what are you looking at.
They were feeding the walruses and having them do tricks which was kinda fun. I know you are probably wondering how that middle one does tricks but he does. Let me tell you he is huge, we were watching them under water and he was coming at us and you wonder how he doesn't break the glass because he is that big. So it turned out to be a really nice day and Brody got to run around and have fun. Beckett slept in the stroller the whole time so I didn't really have to worry about him. We hope to go back in a couple of weeks when it get warmer outside and hopefully there will be more animals out.
