Saylor's Crawling!

The Holiday Season

Happy Holidays!!!

We have been very busy, which is why I am a little behind on the blogging but I will try to catch you all up. Thankfully everyone is still very happy and healthy! The first part of December we went to the holiday party at the Heritage Lake Clubhouse and saw the lighting of the Christmas tree, fireworks, and Santa coming in on a firetruck. Beckett still wasn't to thrilled about seeing Santa, Brody made sure to tell him what they both wanted. The weekend after that Grandma Suzy went with us to go on the Polar Express ride in Connersville. The boys loved it! They love trains so the thought of being able to ride on a real one and going to the North Pole to pick up Santa Clause was really cool. I hope that it is something we can do every year so that they will always remember it.

The boys also got to go out and play in the little bit of snow that we have had so far this year. Brody keeps reminding us that we need to get the sleds out every time it starts to snow not understanding that we need definitely more than what we have gotten to be able to go sledding.

Saylor is still such a good baby. I can't believe that she is already six months old. At her appointment she weighed almost 14lbs and was about 26in long. She is still very petite but you will see in the next post that her size definitely doesn't slow her down. She is already crawling! She loves to go after all the boys toys and be right in the middle of everything. The one good thing is the boys a learning to keep their toys picked up if they don't want her to get them. Hopefully after the first of the year things will slow down and I can keep up on this blog!

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Fall is Here...

With summer gone, fall has brought so many fun things so far. Brody has started soccer so that has been keeping us busy. When he first started it was so funny to watch him since he really didn't know what he was doing, but the last couple of games he has done so much better and actually looks like he is enjoying it. He even scored a goal!!! Of course it was the game that I had to miss, but Toby said he was very excited.

He also started preschool and turned 4 all in the same week. He loves school, just doesn't like to get up early. In the short time that he has been going he has already learned so much, I think it is going to be very good for him.

Beckett is doing good too. He loves the time that Brody is in school because he knows that he doesn't have to share any of the toys. We also will be starting him in speech therapy soon and see if that helps to get him talking.

`
Saylor is still such a happy baby. She is now 4 months old and growing so fast. She is rolling all over the place. We have started her on cereal and she does such a great job eating so hopefully we will start with the baby food in the next couple weeks. The boys still love to kiss all over her and love to make her laugh, which doesn't seem to take much.

We took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch and took the hayride to let the boys pick their own pumpkins. It was a little cold so we had to bundle up, but we enjoyed some apple cider and a apple dumpling. We are so excited to see what the rest of fall brings and with the holidays quickly approaching it should be tons of FUN!

Catching Up

For some reason I have been having trouble finding the time to put pictures up. We have had one busy month. Conner's 2nd birthday, State Fair, Miniature Golf and GoKarting. It seems like we haven't slowed down. We have another busy month coming with Brody going to start playing soccer, going to preschool, and turning 4. So I should have alot more pictures to come.

The boys have now started sleeping in their own beds, FINALLY!

We took Saylor for her 2 month check up and she weighed 9lbs 13oz and was 22 1/2 in long. She still such a happy baby. The picture of her smiling is how she is all of the time. You can see that Brody and Beckett still love to kiss and hug her all of the time.

Toby got to take the boys out for a ride in his car. They were so excited to go for a drive with the top down.

Fourth of July Weekend

Saylor is now a month old, I can't believe how fast it has gone. She is such a good baby. She hardly ever cries and still sleeps most of the time. She goes back to the doctor on Friday so I will update how that goes.

We took the kids to the zoo last week when it was cooler outside and I think everyone had the same idea we did. It was a little crowded. The boys still had a lot of fun and they got to see the new kimono dragons that were there.

Hope everyone had a great fourth of July. Unfortunately it was a wet one but we still had a lot of fun. Friday night we cooked out at our house and had some fireworks for the kids. I think the boys liked doing the sparklers the best. Saturday night we went to Jason and Kristin's for a fish fry. All the boys had a lot of fun playing in the rain, I would have to say Griffen probably liked it the best. Then Kristin gave them all a bath and they loved playing in the jets and all the bubbles. Sunday we did get to see the fireworks but at that point I think the boys were over them and didn't enjoy them as much, but it was a good show.

Summer Fun!!!

Happy Fathers Day!!! We spent the first part of the day hanging out at my uncles pool. Beckett started jumping in to Toby and was loving it. My mom got the boys a slip and slide. Beckett liked playing in the sprinkler part while Brody had more fun actually going down it.

This is how Toby spends most of his evenings, going fishing. Toby put a real hook on Brody's pole this year so he has been catching his own fish.

Saylor enjoying being outside. She is such a good baby so far. She was jaundice so she had to be on a bili blanket for a few days. She also lost a little more weight when we first got home, so we are trying to get that back up. I have to take her once a week to get her weight checked so hopefully tomorrow it will be back up. I can't believe that she will be 3 weeks old already. I am enjoying my time off because before I know it I will be going back to work. The boys can't get enough of her. I have to constantly tell them to leave her alone because they will not stop kissing her. I guess I should be happy how much they love her right now because I am sure they will not feel the same way in a few years.
