Another Fun Weekend!

We had another fun weekend. Friday night we went to the State Fair with Jason, Kristin, Conner, Joni and Harrison. The boys had a lot of fun riding the rides, playing the games, and feeding the animals. We had a lot fun trying all the food. It seemed like we tried one of everything by the time we left. Saturday night we went to a birthday party for my uncle Al and cousin Kelly. Brody got to go on a four-wheeler ride (several times) which he loved. In the first picture uncle weiner weiner (don't ask) got to take him. Beckett especially like the tire swing that looks like a horse, he also figured out how to drive the little john deere tractor which he thought was cool. I don't know how many more nice weekends we are going to have so we have to take advantage of it because before we now it we will be stuck in the house. (Sorry for the pictures being out of order)

Weekend Fun!

We had a fun and busy weekend. Saturday night Toby played in a baseball game at North Putnam High School. Beckett enjoyed watching them play and Brody enjoyed playing with Elle until she had to go home.Beckett even found where his daddy was playing. I am guessing we have a future baseball player as much as enjoyed it.
Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Parker's (Toby's grandparents) for a fish fry. Brody got on this little four wheeler and took off. Beckett was even able to drive it around. I don't know if he realized he was doing it but he was laughing the whole time. I guess I know what is going to be asked for for christmas.
After we got home from the fish fry the Jones family came over so Elle could go fishing with Brody. They had so much fun together. While they were playing outside baby Addison was getting her beauty sleep. Oh how I miss those days.

Gamaw Suzy's Surprise Birthday Party

We had a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom on the 26th of July a couple of weeks before he actual birthday to throw her off. As you can see we pulled it off and she was surprised. All of her friends and family were they so it turned out so good. Check out how cute her cake turned out. Compliments of Connie Heavin who makes the best cakes. Happy Birthday Mom and Gamaw! (on Aug. 12th)

Hendrick's County Fair

We took the boys to the Hendricks county fair. They had a lot of fun checking out all the animals and riding the rides. Toby and I enjoyed eating all the fried food! We weren't sure if Beckett would like to ride the rides but the ones they would let him ride he loved. As you can see by the last picture that was the fit he thru when he could not ride them. Brody wanted to ride the little roller coaster and I wasn't sure if I wanted him to but he kept saying he wanted to, so as you can see by the picture after the first turn that was what he looked like. He would look up so we thought about stopping the ride but he wasn't screaming to get off, so he stuck through it till the ride was over. We hope to be able to go to the State Fair so they can have some more fun.

First Boo Boo!

Brody has had his first accident which meant our first trip to the emergency room. I got a call at work from my cousin Carmen who was watching the boys that Brody fell and hit the corner of the coffee table and she thought that it needed stitches. I came right home and took him to the ER and sure enough he got four stitches. I don't know if Beckett knew he needed a little brotherly love because I think he has been giving out more kisses than usual. So having two boys I am sure that this was the first of many trips to the hospital, I just hope for not much worse than this.

Summer Fun

Toby has had to take Brody fishing about everynight. Toby got him a superman fishing pole so that is all he has been wanting to do. Beckett has even wanted to try and catch some.
Brody finally caught his own, with a little help from dad.

I have been taking the boys swimming at my cousins house about once a week and they both love it. The first time I took them Brody learned to swim with a life jacket on, so now he doesn't need to hang on to everyone. I was a little nervous that he wouldn't do it once we put him in the lake but he did great. Beckett just loves to float and splash. Hopefully next summer he will be able to do it on his own too.
